A snowy owl soars over the beach grass of Gull Point in Presque Isle State Park.
The robins had been singing outside my bedroom window for only a few mornings before a late snow storm hit the area. I grabbed my camera to capture how the birds were handling it. As it turns out, they were not very happy about it and this bird clearly shows it.
The spring of 2013 brought a Pine Siskin invasion to my mom's bird feeder. I spent about 8 hours standing out there photographing these very fearless birds. It was the first time that I had ever seen this species. This final image is the photo blended with four or five textures to create this look.
