While learning to fish as juveniles, young bald eagles will often try to steal fish from the adult eagles who have mastered their craft. Moments after this image was captured, a mid-air tussle ensued with the adult eagle keeping its catch.
I had a great photo of a yellow rumped warbler from Conneaut Marsh but lost it due to a hard drive failure. A few years later, I went back to Conneaut Marsh and made this image of a yellow rumped warbler on the SAME. EXACT. SHRUB. It was fate.
