At a rehab center, a Saw Whet Owl basks in the sunlight and catches some z's.
This Great Horned Owl was injured and would never be able to return to the wild. I spent some time with him outside at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Ohio. He was very curious and would lean out and around the tree to get a better look at me.
I had a field day with this captive Red Tailed Hawk. Its next to impossible to get this close to a wild one.
