The Cape May warbler breeds in the boreal forests of Canada in the summer, and then winters in the Caribbean where its often found in palm trees. This migrating male perched on a branch above my head at Presque Isle State Park one May afternoon. There is just something a little bit tropical going on here that appealed to me.
