American Woodcock captured at the Erie National Wildlife Refuge's Holly Trail. This bird was hunkered down in a water puddle next to the boardwalk. Two joggers ran right by and didn't notice it until I stopped them on their way back and pointed the bird out to them.
The woodchucks in one particular location I know of in Edinboro, PA are always comfortable around my camera. They do all sorts of things, including standing up on their hind legs and taking a peek at what is going on down the road.
Even the most common wildflowers are beautiful. This is "just" a red clover growing alongside the road.
