I found a spot that was covered in Hawkweed blooms. Using a telephoto lens, I deliberately made the flowers out of focus and found an area where the yellow blooms transitioned to orange blooms...
My lovely wife to be standing by Elowah falls in the Columbia River Gorge. The water was not flowing enough to fall straight down; instead it twisted and snaked towards the ground like the funnel of a tornado.
Standing thigh deep in a riffle of Kitchen Creek, I created this image of Harrison Wright Falls in Ricketts Glen State Park. I have to believe that the Falls Trail is the most spectacular hiking trail in the State of Pennsylvania.
