I once had an opportunity so unbelievable that I can still hardly believe it. A pair of red fox kits appeared at the local golf course and let me sit a mere dozen feet away while they played in the grass. The following morning I took a photographer friend back to the same place and this young fox reappeared. He was so bothered by us being there that he curled up and took a nap just a few arms lengths away as we fired away with our cameras.
