Looking southwest from the Crawford Path on the side of Mount Washington. Lakes of the Clouds lies below, with Mt. Monroe just beyond.
This Great Horned Owl was injured and would never be able to return to the wild. I spent some time with him outside at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Ohio. He was very curious and would lean out and around the tree to get a better look at me.
I made an expedition to Tobermory, Ontario Canda just to make this photograph!
