Covered bridge behind the 8th green spanning the Ellis River in Jackson, NH. It was built in 1990. I was joined by a young college age lad from Boston who interestingly did not have a trace of Boston accent despite living there his entire life. "I've worked really hard to not have the accent." He told me. He was pretty new to the game and played pretty well for a rookie. On the 8th, he made a birdie on this lovely hole after hitting his approach shot to inside twenty feet and was quite excited. As it turned out, it was the first birdie that he'd ever made. The ball in this photo may have been his.
Located just off the Kancamagaus Highway in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Albany Covered Bridge was originally constructed in 1858. It crosses the Swift River six miles from the town of Conway.
