The Miterwort is not going to wow very many people. It is a very unspectacular looking flower that blooms around here in May. I shot this with a super telephoto lens which is probably the least likely lens for the job!
This particular plant warms my soul every spring when it blooms. I found these in bloom one rainy spring day in the Erie National Wildlife Refuge near where I live.
